Biochar Demonstration at Xwaaqw’um

This Wednesday, March 27th join us for a free Biochar Demonstration but on by the Salt Spring Farmland Trust. Look for us just below the barns and bring a bucket if you would like to take some biochar home. We will be burning invasive English Hawthorn branches in the kilns supplied by the Farmland Trust. Workparty for collecting the branches will be from 9am to 4pm around the barn area with Stqeeye’ staff. Please email Rachel if you think you can make it!
